We are pleased to announce that we have received new virus detection devices from Altona. The devices, a pipetting robot and a thermocycler, will be used in our laboratory for the molecular biological analysis of viruses.
The pipetting robot automates the preparation of samples for virus detection using the Nobel Prize-winning PCR method. The robot can handle up to 96 samples at a time, which significantly reduces the time and labor required for sample preparation. This frees up our scientists to focus on other aspects of the analysis, such as interpreting the results and developing new diagnostic tests.
We are grateful to Altona for their continued partnership in our work to diagnose viral diseases and are confident that the new devices will be a valuable asset to our laboratory and our quest to make a difference.
